NCPOR hosted Prof. Andre Droxler, Emeritus Professor at Rice University and an eminent marine geologist and oceanographer, on 23 September 2025. He delivered an insightful talk on “The Origin of Modern Atolls: Challenging Darwin’s Deeply Ingrained Theory”. Prof. Droxler shared his expertise on coral reef and carbonate platform morphology, glacial–interglacial sedimentation processes, and the impacts of climate and sea-level changes.
