In order to support the advancements in science based on the sediment samples obtained by Indian scientists, on similar lines of other Program Member Offices (PMOs), India has also supported several Indian scientists with extramural grants. The support was provided based on their scientific proposals submitted to IODP-India which went through a peer review process. A list of them is provided below:
