Research Area

I study the Earth's frozen regions with satellite, airborne and in situ data using geospatial tools, carry out fieldwork to "ground truth" ─ make sure the satellites have measured it right, and tell other people about my science during conferences. I'm currently working on following broad areas;

  •   Geospatial applications in the cryosphere especially in Antarctic and Arctic
  •   SAR interferometry for cryospheric and glaciological applications
  •   High resolution remote sensing for deriving vital geo-information using image processing techniques.
