About IODP

National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR), an autonomous R&D institution under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES, Government of India), is the nodal organization for implementation of IODP activities in India.

An international workshop during October 17-18, 2011 on scientific drilling in the Indian Ocean sector was organised by IODP-India in association with Australia and New Zealand IODP Consortium (ANZIC) and IODP-MI.
