Exploring Antarctica beyond the ice

Dr. Rahul Mohan, Scientist-G & Group Director, NCPOR, delivered an engaging lecture on “Antarctica: Geopolitics, Science and Environment” at the National Defence College, New Delhi, on 22 July 2026.

With 100+ participants—including senior officers from India’s civil services, defence services, and international delegates from 41 friendly countries—the session explored Antarctica’s evolving geopolitics, environmental significance, and India’s scientific endeavours on the frozen continent.
