Scientists Engage with NCPOR on Polar & Ocean Research

NCPOR hosted a team of scientists on 23 February 2026 as part of the Training Programme for scientists and technologists organised by the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.

Dr. Rahul Mohan, Scientist-G & Group Director, highlighted NCPOR’s key initiatives in polar and ocean research, while Dr. Rohit Srivastava, Scientist-E, shared insights into India’s Arctic expeditions and ongoing research in the region.

The interaction served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, fostering greater awareness among the visiting scientists about India’s expanding role in polar science and ocean research.
