IODP Review Meet, September 15-16, 2016, NCAOR, Goa

The competent authority constituted an expert committee to review Indian activities associated with the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) vis-à-vis scientific outcomes emanating from Indian participations in various IODP expeditions since India’s joining of IODP as an associate member. 

In the above context, a meeting of expert committee chaired by the Director, NCAOR was organized on 15th and 16th of September 2016 at NCAOR, Goa. Several IODP participants from various organizations across India, besides expert committee members, attended the meeting. The participants presented their research experiences and post cruise achievements. After the presentations made by all participants, all expert members were invited to deliberate on the discussions held over the 2 day meeting.
