Departing Cape Town on 25 Dec 2025 aboard MV Vasiliy Golovnin, the team led by Dr. Ravi Mishra, Scientist E, NCPOR, completed all planned scientific and operational tasks. Apart from delivering the annual Supplies to Maitri and Bharati, supplies also made for BELARE at Belgium’s Princess Elisabeth Station.
In true spirit of supporting the International projects, the expedition vessel delivered the cargo of "SCAR-RINGS" at Japan’s Syowa Station and deployed 10 SOCCOM BGC Argo floats (provided by Scripps Institution of Oceanography) to advance Southern Ocean research.
With all summer objectives achieved, the 22-member Indian expedition team returned safely to India.
