Curtain Raiser and Vigyan Yatra Programme for 6th India International Science Festival (IISF-2020) is being organised by MoES-NCPOR on 11th December, 2020

National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR erstwhile NCAOR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, dedicated to polar and ocean research, is organising online Curtain Raiser and Vigyan Yatra Programme on 11th December 2020 [10:45 AM onwards] under the aegis of the 6th India International Science Festival (IISF-2020).

This event through webinar will provide a platform to the participants to understand more about Polar regions. A panel discussion will encourage participants to popularize scientific research and how to face the challenges in science communication. More than 200 participants are expected to participate in the event. A detailed schedule of the program is attached here. 

6th India International Science Festival (IISF) 2020 organized jointly by  Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Family & Welfare, CSIR, CSIR-NISTAD and Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA). This Mega Science Festival will be organized on a virtual platform during 22-25 December 2020. The theme for the IISF 2020 is Science for Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Global Welfare.
