International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day, beach cleaning programme was conducted at Velsao Beach on September 18, 2021
On the eve of the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day, beach cleaning programme was conducted befittingly at Velsao Beach on September 18, 2021. This program was conducted by the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR) as part of the Swachh Sagar (Clean Seas) Campaign of the MoES to commemorate the 75 years of Indian Independence (Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsava). Over 50 participants from the NCPOR actively participated in this programme.
